QA Engineer Job Description
We're seeking a proactive, all-around QA engineer with a development background to ensure the functionality, quality, security, and usability of our new and existing dapps and smart contracts.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the crypto space, experience with smart contract interaction, and meticulous attention to detail.
You’ll have the exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge blockchains networks including Solana, Blast and Etherlink (over 20 blockchains in total), while utilizing modern CI/CD workflows to maintain and improve our quality assurance processes across multiple chains.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive quality assurance for current and upcoming dapps, focusing on functionality, branding consistency, performance, and adherence to specifications.
- Develop, execute, and maintain unit, integration, e2e, and automated test scripts.
- Perform manual testing and general quality assurance verification.
- Create clear, concise, and actionable issue reports.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Evaluate and reproduce client-reported issues, creating internal tickets as necessary.
- Continuously optimize QA processes for efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
- Contribute to the development of requirements documents and testing procedures.
- Assist in creating and updating product documentation, including user manuals and FAQs.
Qualifications for this Position
- Proven experience as a Web3 Quality Assurance engineer/specialist, with a focus on smart contract interactions..
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Passion for blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.
- Proficiency in creating and executing effective automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with Agile frameworks and regression testing (preferred).
- Ability to work independently, manage projects, and meet deadlines.
- BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent knowledge obtained through experience/courses.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Understanding of programming languages (eg: Typescript, Javascript, etc).
- Bonus points: Experience in GCP, git, Github Actions.
