Your Responsibilities:
As a Web3 Developer on our team, and depending upon your area of expertise, you will help contribute to:
- Develop and Deploy Smart Contracts: Create new, and update existing contracts to ensure they meet audit standards for security and quality, while introducing new features.
- Code Efficiency and Security: Produce smart contract and app front-end/back-end code that is both efficient and secure, backed by a robust suite of tests from our QA team.
- Best Practices and Version Control: Help with the creation of best practices for smart contract and website updates using Git, JIRA, Notion, and our weekly stand-up meetings.
- Collaborate and Elevate Security: Work closely with developers, auditors, and stakeholders to maintain and enhance smart contract and website security - essential for maintaining trust, transparency, and safety for our users.
- Stay Updated: Keep updated with the latest trends, technologies, and tools in both EVM and non-EVM chains or services.
- Code Reviews: Engage in code review processes, providing insightful feedback to peers to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Documentation and Proposals: Assist in the creation and evaluation of grant proposals, requirement documents, and statements of work. We are also introducing opportunities to provide public-facing documents for developers to contribute to.
- 3rd Party Partnerships: Work with external providers, partnerships, and projects to create exciting widgets, tools, and tech for companies we work alongside.
Requirements for the job:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role, with 5+ years as a developer.
- Proficiency in Web3 Technologies: Rust knowledge is a plus, but we have a list of key skills below. Essentially, if you have a deep understanding and desire to work in web3 tech, we want to talk with you.
- Developer Tools: Experience with tools for smart contract application developers, such as Hardhat and Foundry.
- Testing Skills: Strong testing skills and experience with testing frameworks for smart contracts.
- Communication Skills: Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills to collaborate effectively with remote team members.
- Personality: A proactive, positive, and independent personality.
- Security Mindset: A security-oriented mindset.
- Passion for Code: A passion for creating great smart contract code, ready for audit.
